Set up Wave for Roblox: runtimes and antivirus requirements, where to download it, and fixes for exit errors, no client found, error 268 and failed injection.

Requirements
Antivirus software flags Wave as a false positive and deletes it.
Wave needs the Visual C++ redistributables, .NET 6 and Node.js.
Set up Wave
Download Wave from getwave.gg. This video walks through the setup.
Troubleshooting
Non-zero exit
Run Wave as administrator.
Zero exit
Restart your PC, turn off Real-Time Protection and Tamper Protection, uninstall and reinstall Roblox, then run Wave.
No client found
Search for Play Roblox and launch Roblox through Bloxstrap from there.
Wave is getting deleted
Turn off your antivirus. It flags Wave as a false positive and deletes it.
Error code 268 / unexpected client behaviour
Wait an hour and try again. If that doesn't work, reinstall Bloxstrap and Roblox and delete all previous Roblox versions. You can also open Roblox and wait for the game to load (join a game first if you're on the menu).
Can't inject
- Make sure the runtimes are installed.
- Close all apps running in the background.
- Turn off your antivirus.
- Clear your temp folder and your cache.
- Restart your PC, then launch Roblox from roblox.com.
